March 2021 marks the inaugural year for Girls on the Run at Eastern Hancock Elementary School. This is a nationwide, non-profit program for 3rd-5th grade girls that is about much more than running. Coaches Erin Harmon, Madison Hamblin and Erin Billstrom had their hands full with a full team of 15 girls this year! And with the wonderful support of the Eastern Hancock Education Foundation's grant, they were able to offer the program at a reduced rated for families.
This year's program will finish up with a 5K run at Eastern Hancock on Saturday, May 15 at 9am. Stop by & cheer them on!
