Name: Natalie Schilling
How are you connected to Eastern Hancock? I am a former EH teacher and now a parent of two EH students as well as an EH Education Foundation board member.
What is your greatest EH experience? There have been many impactful moments, both as a teacher and as a parent. A highlight has been watching how this community comes together to support each other. Whenever there is a need, the community shows up big! Whether it's helping to support the Education Foundation put on an event to raise money for teacher grants, or a crazy game of Donkey Basketball to support the FFA students or even a sectional championship on the line, you can find loyal EH supporters showing their royal pride.
If you have/had children who attend EH, how has that benefited their lives? I had some awesome co-workers when I taught at EH! It's so amazing to see how those educators are now making an impact on my own children. I know that they are passionate about their roles, and that they care about the children sitting in their classrooms. They challenge them to grow as learners by setting high expectations and encouraging them to succeed every step of the way.
What makes you have #EHRoyalPride? I am proud to live in and raise my children in this EH Royal Community. Our friends are like family, and I know that my children are being encouraged to grow in integrity and leadership while they are away from our home during each school day.
